真正適應學生發展的課堂，來自于師生雙方活躍的、積極的、暢通無阻的交流。羅杰斯說：成功的教育依賴于一種真誠的理解和信任的師生關系，依賴于一種和諧的，安全的課堂氣氛。作為教師與學生之間最經常、最有效的共同活動，課堂教學的本質就應當是有意義的、充滿人與人之間活生生的情感和特殊形態的實踐活動，教師應當注重每一個活動細節的設計，努力營造出師生平等、寬松融洽的課堂，刺激學生主體創造力的發揮，使學生的思維迸發出創新的火花。
